We will be announcing our 2024 Scholarship recipients later this spring.

Dr. Dolores Morton Spriggs Endowment Scholarship

Dr. Dolores Morton Spriggs

On November 7, 2013, the Upsilon Epsilon Omega (UEO) Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® honored the memory of Dr. Dolores Morton Spriggs by initiating the Dr. Dolores Morton Spriggs Legacy Endowment. Dr. Morton Spriggs was one of the three visionaries who formed the Ladies of Vision Interest Group in 1991, thus paving the way for UEO to provide programs of service. On June 26, 1994, she, along with twenty ladies chartered UEO. Dr. Dolores Morton Spriggs served as the first President of UEO and is the mother of UEO charter members Gretchen Styles and Greer Shorter (current UEO member).

UEO is pleased to announce the 2024 Scholarship Award of the Dr. Dolores Morton Spriggs Endowment. This year, we will be awarding one scholarship in the amount of $800. Click the link below to apply.
